Description
What makes this guitar special: This 12-string has an absolute ton of range thanks to its combination of active electronics and pickups. Inherently, the pickups sound great as is with a flat EQ in any of the three positions, but they have capacity far beyond this. First, adding in the active 2-band EQ already extends its range beyond most, since you can dial in a very full low end or incredibly clean high end to taste. The coil-tapping switches can help convert this into a dual single-coil axe as well, or a combination of either type in either position, expanding possibilities that much further. If that’s not enough, you still get the standard tone and volume controls, plus a phase switch for an added effect or as compensation if certain combinations are somehow cancelling anything out. Outside of the electronics, this guitar also offers a perfectly slim neck that boasts a thin nut width, especially for a 12-string, giving it great overall playability. Plus, it’s still in great shape for a used guitar.
Condition: This guitar is very good condition overall. It shows only minor dings, dents, scuffs, and light scratches, but is otherwise in fantastic shape for a used instrument. The frets show only light wear and still have a considerable amount of playing time left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning. There are a few finish cracks on either side of the nut and one side was shimmed at some point as well, but it is stable and still plays just fine.
