Description

What makes this guitar special: This is an all-around great classical acoustic-electric with equally great looks, sound, and playability. Aesthetically, it’s easy to see what makes this one stand out. Its gorgeous quilted maple top looks perfect under the Deep Honeyburst finish that is also complemented by its tortoiseshell binding, gold hardware, and ebony fingerboard, all of which give it a nice warm palette. Tonally, it has surprisingly good range acoustically and amplified between its compressed low end, rich mid-range and creamy top end. The control scheme provides a 4-band EQ plus a notch and volume so it can be dialed in for the room or to sit in any mix with ease. All in all, it plays great, sounds great, and plays just the same.

Condition: This classical acoustic-electric is in excellent condition overall. It does have a few small nicks, dings, dents, and light scratches, but it still largely remains very clean for a used instrument. The frets show little wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning.

Body: Single cutaway braced mahogany back and sides and quilted maple top in Deep Honeyburst. Standard classical bridge. Fishman electronics system mounted on the bass-side. Tortoiseshell top binding with black and cream purfling.

Neck: Slim to medium depth D shape mahogany neck and 20” radius ebony fingerboard. 1 7/8” nut width. 3-per-side classical tuning machines. 21 medium jumbo frets.

Electronics: Fishman Acoustic Matrix pickup and Prefix Pro electronics system with 1 x bass, 1 x middle, 1 x treble, and 1 x brilliance sliders. Phase switch, notch, and volume controls.

Weight: 4 lbs 11.4 oz

Playability/Sound: Even with a wider classical nut, the neck plays fantastic up through the cutaway thanks to its smooth transitioning heel contour. The natural acoustic tone has a surprisingly good range for its smaller body with a pleasantly compressed low end, rich and punchy mid-range and silky highs. The Fishman preamp system translates all of this perfectly, yet still provides enough EQ to allow players to get it dialed in easily in live settings.

Case: Includes original hardshell case.
