Description
Aria has a longstanding reputation of making well-built instruments that play and sound great without breaking the bank. This Aria Pro II Magna Series MAB-20/5 is a rock-solid 5 string with a growlin' tone and a sleek, stealthy aesthetic. With its spankin' single-coil pickups and tight 15mm string spacing at the bridge, this bass is perfect for pick and fingerstyle players seeking a tried and true workhorse of a 5 string.
Cosmetic Condition: This bass is in good condition for its age. The body and headstock sport various nicks and dings from regular playwear, but none that are major or interfere with performance. The bridge and saddle screws have some tarnish, but they're fully functional.
Neck: Bolt-on maple neck with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays. The frets have some minor wear but still have plenty of life, and the truss rod works as it should. The neck measures a narrow 43mm wide at the nut, making it great for players who play with fast or demanding techniques.
Body: We aren't 100% certain on the body wood of this bass, but it's likely either poplar or alder. The body has several ergonomic contours and deep cutaways, making it very comfortable for players who like to play in the upper register. Weighs 8 lbs 5.4 oz.
Electronics: A pair of Aria Pro II single-coils give this bass its signature sound, characterized by deep lows, pleasantly scooped mids, and clear, chiming highs. These pickups are angled, giving the bass strings a better low-end response and the treble strings a brighter sound. This bass has a standard Vol/Vol/Tone control layout, and all electronics are fully functional.
