Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a straight-forward 12-string Alvarez with great tone and a look to match. The overall response starts with a pleasantly compressed low end that opens up a bit when the guitar is played aggressively. The mid-range is rich and full with an expressive dynamic response that reaches into a silky smooth top end and the electronics translate all of this with excellent transparency. The neck is a familiar C shape that most players will know, and even with its extra width, provides ample string spacing without being an unmanageable size. The body also boasts a nice patina that gives it great vintage vibe and alludes to the inherent warmth given to its overall sound.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does show various nicks, dings, dents, scuffs, scratches, and other forms of normal playwear, but is still in pretty great shape. The frets show only mild wear and still have a considerable amount of playing time left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought body with mahogany back and sides and a spruce top in Sunburst finish. 3-ring rosette. Tortoiseshell pickguard. Ebonized rosewood bridge. Black bridge pins with white dots. Uncompensated saddle.
Neck: Medium depth C shape mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with small dot inlays. 1 7/8” nut width. 25.5” scale length. Chrome sealed tuning machines.
