Handcrafted by master luthiers Gerald Alonso & Fabian Le Dosseur in Rouen, France, this superb Selmer Maccaferri style Gypsy Jazz guitar features a solid spruce top with a petite bouche soundhole, along with gorgeous rosewood for the back & sides. Fully inspected & professionally set up ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: French walnut neck with ebony fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Slotted headstock with ebony veneer. Gold Schaller tuners with ivoroid buttons & bone nut. 1.75" nut width with zero fret; 26 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Selmer Maccaferri style body with cutaway & multi-layer binding. Solid spruce top with petite bouche soundhole & multi-ring rosette. DR tailpiece with ebony bridge & no pickguard. The bridge required a couple of shims. Rosewood back & sides. The back is perfectly bookmatched & looks beautiful. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 5.2 oz.
Electronics: Passive, under-saddle pickup.
