Description
What’s special about this guitar: It’s a double cut Paul! There are obviously quite a few less in production than any of the single cut Classics, Studios, and Traditionals, so that already gives it a leg up. The flame top has gorgeous figuring, and with the setup our techs fixed it up with, it plays like an absolute champion. It’s also in excellent shape for a used guitar which means the body AND the price have both been double cut for good measure, so you only have to cut one modest check.
Condition: This double cut Les Paul is in excellent shape. It does have various scratches/scuffs, but they are very light and sparsely distributed. There is almost no fret wear and the fretboard is pristine. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions perfectly as it should.
Body: Grade-A Mahogany body w/ AAA Maple top in Translucent Red. Equipped with a chrome Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop bar. Vintage amber top hat knobs.
Neck: Mahogany neck with .800-.875 profile. Rosewood fingerboard with acrylic trapezoid inlays and the 120th banner in the 12th fret. White TekToid nut, 1.695” width. Chrome Grover Kidney tuning machines.
Pickups/Electronics: BurstBucker Rhythm Pro pickup in the neck and BurstBucker Lead Pro in the bridge. One volume control, one tone control. 3-way switchcraft toggle switch with cream tip.
Weight: 8.6 lbs
Playability/Sound: This is everything you would expect from a great playing Les Paul, but with a double cutaway. The body is slightly lighter, at 8.6 lbs, so it balances a bit better than most single-cut Pauls. The neck profile provides quick and easy movement and the pickups sound spot on.
Case: Includes Gibson hardshell case.
