Description
Warwick's German-made basses are some of the finest instruments built at their price, thanks to their premium tonewoods and excellent playability. This 2003 Corvette Standard sports a gorgeous ovangkol neck, a wenge fingerboard, and a bubinga body, giving it loads of resonance and sustain. Complete with a pair of chiming single-coil pickups with plenty of low-end thump, this Corvette Standard is perfect for players who love funk, rock, metal, and anything in-between.
Cosmetic Condition: This bass has a few light nicks and scuffs in the clear coat of the body and headstock, but they do little to take away from how great it looks. The hardware is nice and shiny with minimal wearing, and it's overall in very good condition for being nearly 20 years old.
Neck: 3-piece medium/large profile ovangkol neck with a wenge fingerboard, white side dot inlays, and 24 brass frets. The original Warwick tuners work great, and the frets show almost no wear. And, with a 1.5" nut width and familiar-feeling 34" scale length, this bass plays excellently and lends itself to fast, dexterous techniques. The neck is straight, and the truss rod functions properly.
Body: An all-bubinga body gives this Corvette a rich tone with plenty of warmth, a bright midrange, and excellent articulation. It has numerous contours that make it exceptionally comfortable whether you're seated or standing. Weighs 10 lbs. 2.3 oz.
Electronics: This bass has a pair of passive MEC Jazz-style pickups that churn out a thick, scooped tone with beefy lows and a spankin' top-end. Equipped with a single volume, a master tone, and a pickup blend control, this bass has a wealth of gig-ready tones on tap, no matter what style of music you play. All electronics have been tested and work great.
Case: Ships with a Warwick gig bag.
