What’s special about this guitar: This is a great playing 1983 Epiphone S400PW. This is a rare piece and is unique in that it combines design elements of two very popular guitar brands. Features include a Strat-style body, HSS pickup configuration, fine tune bridge and a locking nut. The pickups on this one are both highly powerful and versatile and the locking bridge and nut provide excellent intonation. The pearl white finish gives the guitar an awesome look!
Condition: This guitar is in fantastic shape overall considering its age! There are only a few very light surface scratches and a few tiny dings throughout the entire guitar. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly.
Body: Solid contoured body in a metallic pearl white finish. Fine-tune bridge with six individual saddles. The original trem arm is missing. Skirted control knobs and a 2-ply white pckguard and back cover plate.
Neck: Slender “C’ shaped maple neck with a maple fingerboard. Black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” locking nut. Sealed nickel tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original single coil pickups in the neck and middle and humbucker in the bridge. Master volume control, neck tone control, middle tone control and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 7.88K Ohms.
Middle: 7.63K Ohms.
Bridge: 7.95K Ohms.
