Featuring three combinable tape heads and a phenomenal spring tank emulator, this unit was made for players who love old-school time-based effects. Please reach out if you have any questions about this incredible pedal!
As soon as you power on the Galaxy '74, you'll have three different tape heads to choose between that serve up a stellar array of classic echo effects. That's not where your tonal options end, though - users can also mix the tape head modes in unique combinations, unlocking rich, classic tones and cool rhythmic delays. Once you've found a setting you love, you can fine-tune your signal with the Bass, Treble, and Input Gain controls, adding warmth, brightness, and punch to your sound. The Galaxy '74 even sports a tape age control that adds degradation to your signal, giving it an incredibly authentic sound.
Other features include a dwell spring tank drive, the ability to hold the footswitch for "space" oscillation, and the option to double the delay time range. If you love classic time-based effects and are on the hunt for the most accurate-sounding vintage tape echo pedal on the market, you need to check out the Universal Audio Galaxy '74.
