Universal Audio's Dream '65 gives players the rich, bright tones of one of the most classic 1x12 combo amplifiers ever built. This pedal is an incredibly accurate emulation of that '60s tube amp, and it's perfect for players who want to transform their rig into a vintage tone machine.
If there's one thing the Dream '65 nails, it's versatility. Loaded with three different amp types and three unique speaker simulations, this pedal has an incredible amount of tones on tap.
For amp emulations, the Dream '65 offers players three modes: Stock, Lead, and our personal favorite, D-Tex. In Stock mode, the Dream '65 churns out lush, bright cleans. When set to Lead, the bright cap is removed when the Boost knob is rolled past OFF, giving the lows and mids some added punch and fullness. With the toggle set to D-Tex, the gain and mids are cranked up, resulting in a smooth, overdriven tone that's great for Texas Blues. After selecting a preferred amp mode, players can pair it with any of the three cabinet/speaker emulations for further sonic versatility.
Complete with the ability to download artist tones, customize features, and explore presets via the UAFX mobile amp, the Dream '65 is excellent for vintage tone buffs looking for an incredible preamp pedal.
