Description
Description: Tacoma BM6C Thunderhawk Acoustic Electric Baritone Guitar
Condition: Very good overall. Various light surface scratches and a few small nicks and dings throughout the instrument. There was a very small amount of separation between the back and sides at the lower bass side bout which has been professionally repaired our master luthier. The only evidence of this repair is that the seam is just slightly uneven. It is an immeasurable amount (see photos). There are no other structural repairs or any other damage. Fingerboard and frets have extremely light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with great action up and down the fingerboard. The truss rod has been tested and is in perfect working condition.
Body: Jumbo cutaway body with solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides in natural finish. Tone shaped rosewood bridge with a compensated saddle, offset paisley soundhole. Lower bout: 17 ¾” x 4 5/8”. Upper bout: 12 3/8” x 4 ¼”.
Neck: Bolt-on one-piece mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 13/16” nut. Tacoma sealed tuners, 29” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Tacoma Miratone transducer with controls for volume, treble, bass and notch.
Weight: 5lbs, 8.5oz.
Playability/Sound: This acoustic baritone guitar has an unbelievably huge sound. It is warm and rich with even response from each string. The sound resonates beautifully with plenty of volume. The neck is exceptionally comfortable and ideal for any playing style. The pickups system does an excellent job of recreating the natural sound of the guitar.
Case: Includes original hardshell case.
