I had a terrific experience with Cream City Music. Mr. Derickson was great. Every encounter I had was outstanding, as they were honest, knowledgeable, quick, and offered high-quality guitars. When I received the guitar in the mail, it had clearly been cleaned and set up properly and I was so impressed when the guitar arrived that I wrote a letter to compliment their staff. I buy a lot of guitars and I can tell when a guitar is of high quality and taken well care of and Cream City Music offers just that.

I have been a customer of Cream City for about 10 years. They consistently have the best guitars and amps, and enthusiastic and helpful experts there to help you. My most recent purchase was an outstanding example. I purchased a used Martin acoustic that I loved, but needed some work. Brian worked with me to get a fair price before the repairs, and I purchased the guitar and played it for about a month. I brought back a complete list of the work I wanted done, and Ron did a fantastic job fixing cracks, adjusting the neck, replacing the pickguard, all at an extremely fair price. It is my favorite guitar in my 30 years of playing, and it was because they took the time to listen to my requests and work with me to get it right. The guitar is probably worth twice what I paid for it now due to the fine work done, and I wouldn't sell it for twice that price. They are head and shoulders above any one else in the business.

From start to finish, Cream City was right on the mark. Top notch service and communication. My Les Paul arrived as scheduled and don't need any adjustments for my setup. Awesome service and overall transaction.

Had a wonderful experience shopping here. Staff is knowledgeable and curteous. Never felt pressured into trying or buying anything. They have a large selection of acoustic and electric guitars. A fair selection of ukuleles. Tons of accessories and cases. When I purchased my guitar, an employee brought out a few more samples so I could compare individual sounds and aesthetics. Will definitely be back in the future.

This is the second major purchase i have made from Cream City. Chad was extremely professional and educated me on some very technical questions. Amazing place if you never went to Manny's in NYC before it closed (after 74 years) you can still get that same vibe here. Massive inventory of good to ridiculous guitars. I drove from Chicago and it was more than worth it as I found a vintage Gibson acoustic in like new condition with original case for a fair price. Go there !!!

I just wanted to send you all a quick note and let you know how much I am enjoying my recent purchases from Cream City Music. My Gibson J-185 that I bought at the end of October is a phenomenal acoustic and after getting some good playing time with my new Les Paul last night I know that I got one heck of a deal! That Les Paul has such a gorgeous tone and sustain...indescribable! They both make me want to play more, which is what guitars should do, right! Unbelievable! I have lived in Milwaukee for a while now and was here for the first time yesterday. I got an amazing deal on a 65 fender Princeton reverb (at least 20 below everybody else) but what surprised me even more was the collection of guitars and amps they had in the store. I felt like i was in Nashville. This is a must visit if you play guitar and live in the area. Even if your just passing through its worth the trip. The staff were all cool and knowledgeable. Just a great place with great gear and people. 100 stars!!

This is the second guitar I have purchased from Cream City Music. I stopped in while in Milwaukee visiting relatives and wanted to get from my Dean MAB-1 Armorflame shred guitar into a Gibson Les Paul that would more fit my blues rock needs. Mike was the most informative, professional and patient sales rep that I have ever dealt with at any Music store. I spent quite a while making up my mind and ultimately decided and on a Gibson Les Paul Studio 50's Tribute Humbucker in Satin Ebony. The Guitar is perfect for me! The more I play it the more I love it! The experience was great, the staff patient and welcoming, and the number of quality guitars staggering! I will be back the next time I need a quality axe at a great price. Thanks Guys!!

In a word: EXCELLENT! I purchased my first Made-in-the-USA Fender guitar, a Stratocaster with a Factory Special Run finish, after it was put on sale on eBay. The guitar came with free shipping and that offer was extended to an additional case that I ordered at the same time. That saved me almost $60, in addition to the sale price on the guitar. To put the icing on the cake, both the guitar and the case were shipped out very well-packaged and LIGHTNING-FAST, arriving in perfect condition in just a couple of days! This qualifies as EXCELLENT SERVICE and I would not hesitate to recommend Cream City Music to my friends, or anybody else for that matter.

As a lifelong player I have purchased several guitars but have never experienced the kind of customer service that I received at Cream City. The level of attention that I received from everyone in the organization, especially Jessi, was top-notch all the way. I got a great Gretsch guitar at an unbeatable price, and everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable and interested in only one thing - assuring that I got EXACTLY what I wanted.

The Cream City Team delivered superior customer service every step of the way!! Ok...For starters, this was not a simple "boy meets guitar, boy buys guitar" sort of a deal. The high-end vintage 0-21 Martin I wanted required multiple trade-ins for me to even consider pulling it off and Joe was about as patient and honest and generous as a human could be. End result... I am STOKED with the Martin and beyond pleased with the way I was treated as a customer. Cream City Music no ka 'oi!!

Just got to play the Gretsch Airliner I bought last week. In a word....EXCELLENT! It arrived Friday last week and a friend took delivery (I was out of town) It was packaged with the care only a guitar lover could appreciate. Brian was great at CCM, helping me with a beautiful red Hofner. I drove 75 miles to pick it up, after making a deal with Brian on their website's online chat. The guitar is beautiful and plays great. Brian got it all set up and made the trip well worthwhile. I will definitely be back to Cream City in the future!

Seriously, remarkable customer service. I have been buying online from Cream City Music for years now, and they have consistently cut us great deals--excellent pricing, good set-up. Their gear, top quality stuff, arrives on time and as described. They are incredibly loyal to their customers; I once purchased a solid-state amp that broke down two years after purchase. The warranty had expired a year earlier, but they helped find an even better replacement amp and cut us an excellent deal on a high-end effect pedal to make up for the disappointment. Really fun, personable people, too. The staff inquired about the music I make personally, and they listened to it and actually gave me feedback. Now that's dedication to the customers! Honestly, Cream City Music is an institution that I wholeheartedly support. Good people. Good store.
