Description
This rare 7-String Model B features a Bakelite body with 5 individual metal covers & is fitted with a warm, rich sounding "horseshoe" pickup with single volume control. These don't come around very often so don't miss out on a wonderful opportunity to own a true piece of Rickenbacker history!
Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape for being over 80 years old! Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. Overall the lap steel has a super cool vibe to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Square shaped Bakelite neck with cream dot inlays. Rickenbacher Electro badge on the front of the headstock. Four tuners on the treble side are on a single strip & the three on the bass side are each individual open back, with the low E being a replacement. 2 1/4" nut width; 22 1/2" scale length.
Body: Guitar-shaped Bakelite body with 5 individual metal covers on the top. String-thru tailpiece/bridge. Lap steel weighs 8 lbs 10.3 oz.
Electronics: Original "horseshoe" pickup with master volume control - octagon shaped Bakelite knob.
Case: Vintage hardshell case included.
