Description
Early version of the Les Paul Classic - 1992 production year with the very rare & hard to find all gold finish! The guitar weighs 9lbs 5.5 oz, is very resonant & a great player!
Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition overall, however, there are some finish chips; minor nicks & dings; mild surface scratches. But no cracks, breaks or repairs. The gold finish has that perfect, mellow look to it, giving the appearance of a vintage Les Paul Gold Top, but without the hefty price tag.
Neck: Slim tapered mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful, dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are in great shape with some light wear & plenty of life in them. Vintage-style tuners in perfect working condition. Classic logo truss rod cover. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.
Body: Solid mahogany body with bound maple top. Stopbar tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge. Single-ply cream pickguard.
Pickups: Gibson exposed coil humbuckers with cream bezels. Bridge - 15.01K ohms; Neck - 8.92K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold top hat knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '92. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action - plays like a brand new guitar! Killer humbucker tone with tons of sustain!
Case: Later period Gibson hardshell case included.
