The Poly Effects Verbs has seven primary sound banks that its reverb effects fall under: Pool of the Blackstar, Capricornia Caves, Santa Lucia Basilica, Echo Plates, Analog Devices, Irregular Verbs, and Adverbs. Within these categories lie the specific reverb captures, spanning everything from vintage oil can delay settings to effects that make it sound as if you're performing in the ancient Roman Pantheon. For fine-tuning, the Poly Effects Verbs features a four-slider interface. On the left side, an Onset and Mix slider allow users to adjust the pre-delay and the wet/dry blend of the reverb effect. On the right side, a Low Cut control engages a high-pass filter, while a Smoosh slider is used to expand the sound of the reverb. Using these, musicians can dial in everything from dark, swampy effects to bright, jangly Abbey Road-style reverb tones.
