The Poly Blue Octave features four separate octave divisions - one octave down, two octaves down, one octave up, and two octaves up - and you can set the level of each one independently for maximum control. Since this pedal is polyphonic by default, it works and tracks great with any playstyle, whether you're playing chordal passages or single-note melodies. And, if you want to channel the raw vintage grit of old-school analog pitch shifters, flip the Mono switch, and your signal will be coated in thick, visceral octave tones reminiscent of the MXR Vintage Bass Octave and the Octavio Fuzz.
Equipped with an unruly fuzz inspired by the coveted MXR Blue Box Fuzz, the Poly Blue Octave is perfect for hard, aggressive riffing. When used with sub-octave signals, the fuzz sounds thick, wooly, and subterranean. Over the octave-up signals, the fuzz is searing, chaotic, and synth-like. Blend the two, and you'll have a wealth of apocalyptic speaker-shredding tones at your disposal.
