The Mesa Boogie JP-2C 1x12 Combo--a limited release from Mesa with only 100 units produced. Inspired by their long-standing relationship with John Petrucci and their 2016 collaboration on the JP-2C head, this combo version incorporates all the modern features found in the JP-2C head--offering impressive headroom and powerful sound in a more portable package.
The JP-2C offers the highest headroom clean sounds of any Mark Series amp, one Boogie Lead Channel for tight, grinding rhythm work and a slightly higher-gain Boogie Lead Channel for even more saturation. The amp takes a different approach to Mesa channel design. Instead of incorporating multiple voicing modes per channel, it dedicates each of the three channels exclusively to one the voicings from the iconic Mark IIC+. In Channels 2 and 3, it also adds a SHRED Mode, which further enhances the top-end harmonic layering of the original IIC+ Lead Circuit.
