The Meris Polymoon boasts a comprehensive interface with six knobs, two footswitches, and additional alternate controls, empowering musicians to shape a wide spectrum of sounds. From classic delay effects to expansive cinematic soundscapes, the Polymoon delivers unrivaled sonic flexibility.
The core controls are the Time, Feedback, and Mix knobs. The Time knob has a max delay of 1200ms, while the Mix control adjusts the wet/dry blend. Meanwhile, the Feedback setting acts as one would expect, but with the ALT button pressed, it tunes the delay tone with a tilt-style EQ filter, offering dark, haunting repeats at lower settings and bright, shimmering taps when cranked.
For further tone shaping, the Multiply control alters the number, level, and panning of six delay taps. The Dimension knob adjusts the smear and regeneration of the taps, conjuring lush, synthesizer-like pads at maximum settings.
In addition to its delay capabilities, the Meris Polymoon features a dynamic flanger and dual phaser settings. The flanger creates doubling and sweeping effects, with alternate functions providing rhythmic pitch shifts and flutter effects. With the settings just right, you can even make it so the pitch-shifting only engages on the later taps. The phaser, on the other hand, can be set to sync up with your playing or operate at a slow, fixed rate, resulting in unique rhythmic modulation.
