Description
The Super Tube Pro Plus, or ST-9 Pro+, is Maxon's tribute to the rare, highly sought-after "Super Tube Screamer" from the 1980s. The ST-9 Pro Plus takes the most essential elements of that pedal and modernizes it. It is loosely based on Maxon's classic "808" circuit, but with a more detailed set of controls. With Drive, Level, Tone, and Mid Enhance knobs, it's easy to contour your sound to your own preferences, no matter what kind of overdrive tone you like. It also features a Mode switch so that you can choose between two diode types, Classic and Low Boost. If you crave the vintage sound of a Super Tube Screamer, then the Maxon ST-9 Pro Plus is the pedal for you.
