Martin's 000-28 has been reimagined for 2018 to feature the same sleek style and sound that made it a hit, but with playability that brings it into the modern era. Its 000 body is perfect for fingerstyle playing, with pronounced mids and highs that sparkle on top of a solid East Indian Rosewood foundation in the back and sides. The scalloped X bracing pattern and use of Sitka spruce and East Indian rosewood make for lively, timeless tone. The 000-14 fret body connects to a Modified Loval oval shape hardwood neck. The satin finished neck, 16" radius ebony fingerboard, high performance neck taper, and 1 3/4" nut width means you have plenty of room to navigate all across the fretboard, whether you're strumming or playing fingerstyle. The top of this guitar also has a cool Aging Toner applied, so it gives the warm look of a broken-in vintage guitar without any "relic-ing." Plus, visual appointments such as Style 28 back purfling, antique white binding, abalone Diamonds and Squares inlays, and herringbone trim give the new 000-28 plenty of style to go along with its aboslutely stellar feel and tone.
