Description
Based on the traditional build specs of an original 1930s model, the Martin 000-18 Golden Era 1937 is not only an authentic recreation, but an incredibly rich testament to time-honored Martin design. Built with a solid Adirondack spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, this 000 has exceptional power and clarity with a robust and expressive mid-range. The satin finish modified “V” shape neck harkens back to earlier generations with a surprisingly comfortable feel in-hand. Deluxe appointments line this model from headstock to endpin including a bone nut, ebony fingerboard, bridge, and bridge pins, and solid Brazilian rosewood headplate and back purfling. This Golden Era Martin is as authentic in sound as it is in look and pays direct homage to the model’s enduring history.
