What makes this guitar special: A rare cutaway version of the JF-30 model featuring lots of gorgeous flame maple figuring in the neck & back of the body. The guitar is in great shape & delivers a bright, boomy tone with nice dynamics. Professionally set up by Cream City Music with fresh strings, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition for its age - various minor nicks, chips, dents, dings & surface scratches. Overall the guitar has a great look to it & the cherry finish is very vibrant.
Neck: Super flame maple neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Mother of pearl Chesterfield & Guild headstock logos. Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition. There is a letter 'Z' pressed into the back of the headstock just above the serial number. Not exactly sure what that means. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Cutaway jumbo body with bound top & back. Solid spruce top with rosewood bridge, tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Maple sides with an arched flame maple back. 17 1/4" lower bout width; 4 3/4" depth. There is no pickup. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 14.4 oz.
