Inspired by legendary delays like the EHX Memory Man, Boss DD-5, and Line 6 DL4, this versatile pedal gives you three modes, Analog, Reverse, and Digital, designed to cover a wide range of musical styles and tones. Whether you're after the warm, vintage character of classic analog delays, the surreal, time-bending effects of reverse delay, or the sharp precision of digital delay, the Flight Delay has you covered.
With intuitive controls, the Flight Delay is built for easy tweaking. The MIX knob balances your dry and delay signals, offering anything from subtle ambiance to fully saturated echoes. The REPEATS control lets you adjust the amount of feedback, with the ability to push it into infinite repeats for spiraling, experimental soundscapes. An EQ knob shapes the tonal color of the delay, ranging from dark and warm to bright and crisp. And with the TIME control, you can adjust the delay length from 50ms to 1 second, making it adaptable for any musical setting.
The pedal's modulation section brings an added layer of depth. You can fine-tune the modulation effect with the MOD DEPTH and MOD RATE controls, recreating everything from the subtle vibrato of a Memory Man to the lo-fi warble of vintage tape echoes. For even more control, the Subdivision Toggle lets you choose between quarter, eighth, and dotted eighth note repeats, while the Modulation Toggle allows you to switch between chorus, vibrato, or no modulation at all.
Tap tempo functionality is built right in, allowing you to easily match the delay time to the tempo of your performance with the right footswitch. You can also connect an expression pedal for real-time control over delay time. The Trails Bypass Mode ensures smooth transitions by letting the repeats continue naturally after bypassing the pedal.
