This Guild DS-240 Slope Shoulder Dreadnought has a big, warm sound, and a pleasing aesthetic to match. The larger dreadnought style body of this acoustic give it excellent projection and resonance, allowing it to easily cut through in live performance settings. Built with a deliberate selection of tonewoods, this acoustics mahogany body and solid Sitka spruce top give it a balanced sound that is both full and rich and punctuated with clear, articulate highs. The playability of this DS-240 is superb - its comfortable C-shaped profile mahogany neck sporting a 20-fret pau ferro fingerboard is incredibly responsive and comfortable, and is perfect for strumming, fingerpicking, and anything in between. Guild fit this DS-240 with a scalloped-X bracing, enhancing its natural resonance and projection, and giving it increased durability.
