Description
An upgrade over the original Dixie 6, this version features a REMO Renaissance head and a rolled brass tone ring. This incredibly unique instrument combines components of guitar and banjo to give a one-of-a-kind sound. You tune and play the Dixie 6 like a guitar, but you get the twangy tonality of a banjo. It features a smooth, semi-gloss maple stain-finished neck with pearloid dot inlays over a maple fingerboard, and a matching maple/ebony bridge to boot. Medium Jumbo frets make playing this banjo-guitar even more familiar to guitarists. This is a fantastic first banjo, especially for musicians who are accustomed to playing guitar. Whether you're a novice or experienced player, it's easy to develop an appreciation for this unique, tonally diverse instrument.
