This is one of the absolute coolest guitars in the entire Gretsch linup..and that’s saying something! This is the top of the line G6136T-LDS White Falcon. If you were to walk into a guitar shop circa 1957 and ask to see the White Falcon, you would been presented with a guitar very much like the G6136T-LDS.
The 1957 features are recreated and even improved upon here in the new G6136T-LDS. This is the top of the line DynaSonic Equipped Falcon currently offered by Gretsch. It recreates the look, sound, and feel of an original '57 but with modern dependability and durability. The new recreation of the original DeArmond pickup which Gretsch calls the DynaSonic is an outstanding design that holds its own against a true vintage pickup. The tone is clear and strong with tremendous bass response that's very clean and musical and an articulate treble that's bright and snappy without a hint of "brittle" tone. The guitar is perfect for vintage style country western and rockabilly but is also well suited for many music styles. The gold plated bigsby with cast aluminum “spoon” handle and Synchrosonic "Melita" Bridge wrap up the package very nicely offering great playability and a classic look.
