This is the Professional Series Gretsch G6120SSLVO Brian Setzer model hollow body. This is the guitar designed to recreate Brian’s original 1959 Chet Atkins 6120 complete with all the mod’s including a Pinned Adjusto-Matic bridge, reversed pickup and tone switches, removed zero fret, and sperzel locking tuners. The neck shape and radius are also a bit different then a stock 59. The neck has a soft “V” shape and the fretboard has a 9.5” radius. The G6120SSLVO guitar is the top of the line Setzer model currently available. The TV Jones Classic pickups and a pinned bridge make this a very versatile Gretsch capable a great variety of sounds from vintage style clean tones to high gain rock & roll. The genuine nitrocellulose lacquer gives this guitar a traditional look and feel. If you would prefer a more traditional 6120 look the G6120SSLVO ships with two nickel control knobs to use in place of the dice. The updated Gretsch Brian Setzer Nashville® models have been redesigned and built to Brian’s rockin' and exacting specifications. Upon reviewing his killer vintage guitar collection, we rebuilt the trestle bracing to match his favorite '59, giving it a more solid feel with tons of sustain. Available in either Orange Tiger Flame Laquer (SSL) or Vintage Orange Lacquer (SSLVO), each guitar comes factory equipped with TV Jones® Classic pickups, Sperzel® locking tuners, pinned Adjusto-matic™ bridge, and Bigsby® B6CB Vibrato tailpiece.
