This is the new standard G6120 from the Gretsch Professional Collection in the classic Orange Stain finish. The original model 6120 from the late 50's & 60's are among the most collectible guitars in the world because the feature set it introduced and it was revolutionary both in tone, functionality and of course, style. Those features are recreated and even improved upon here in the new G6120. The G6120 recreates the look sound and feel of an original 6120 but with modern dependability and durability. The voice of the guitar is clear and clean with excellent note definition. Filter'Tron pickups offer very low noise and sound fantastic clean but handle quite a bit of overdrive as well! This guitar is pure Gretsch quality with top notch fretwork and neck angle providing the perfect playability that the Gretsch Professional Collection is known for. About B-Stock:
This is a “new old stock”, B-stock Gretsch guitar. The guitar is essentially new with a couple of minor cosmetic flaws. The binding is slightly faded at some points, but is barely visible to the naked eye. Additionally, the plastic film over the pickguard has been removed, and the pickguard itself has a small scratch (see photos for details). The guitar weighs 7 lbs 7 oz and the serial number is JT11051752, which dates the guitar to 2011.
