This is the outstanding Session series guitar by Godin. The session is a very cool guitar that borrows a few pieces from some classic designs but ads a few twists. The playability is outstanding with great action all the way down fretboard. The satin finished neck has a low C type profile and has a very nice feel to it. The guitar has the outstanding fit and finish that Godin is known for. To play the guitar you'd think it costs two times the price. The pickups have a very warm vintage character to them and the configuration offers a lot of versatility. The neck and middle pickups are smooth and clean sounding and the bridge pickup is snappy and bright and very well suited to high gain as well as moderate distortion. This is a brand new "B-Stock" guitar (Please read below about B Stock) and comes with the deluxe Godin gigbag and full factory warranty. This is a B-Stock or factory blemished guitar. It is not a return or refurbished instrument and it is not used. Almost without exception the blemishes we see from Godin are nearly imperceptible in the form of minor hazing or scuffing on the finish, or a very small drip or buildup. These blemishes are always very minor and can save you hundreds of dollars on your purchase! The Session features a rock maple neck with rosewood or maple fingerboard, Canadian Laurentian Basswood body, 2x Godin GS-1 single-coils housed in a vintage white pickguard and a Godin humbucker in the bridge, along with a 5-way switch, 1x volume and 1x push/pull tone knob that splits the humbucker.
