Description

One guitar. Three Voices. With the Godin LGXT, that's exactly what you get. Featuring two powerful humbuckers, an LR Baggs Transducer pickup, and a 13-pin output, this axe can create a wealth of acoustic and electric sounds along with MIDI synth effects. That's right - if programmed, you can use the LGXT to play keys, organ, brass, percussion, woodwind instruments, and nearly anything imaginable. For the adventurous musician, the Godin LGXT is the only guitar you'll ever need.

As a straight-up electric guitar, the LGXT is a top-of-the-line performer, thanks to its duo of Seymour Duncan pickups. These humbuckers are ultra-versatile and can pump out tons of different tones, from warm and mellow to hot, punchy, and bright. However, it also delivers phenomenal acoustic sounds, adjustable via the sliders on the upper bout. Whether you want to use the electric and acoustic pickups separately or blend them together for the best of both worlds, this tone monster can handle it.

Things get interesting when you experiment with the 13-pin output, as the only limitation is what you plug it into. If you're running it through a guitar synthesizer, you can dial in synth stings, sweeping orchestral patches, marimba effects, and anything you can dream up. There's even a toggle switch on board that allows players to move up and down between MIDI patches on the fly. This is an incredible feature for musicians who need to double up on parts or want an all-in-one guitar for recording.

Aside from the electronics, the Godin LGXT is a beautifully crafted instrument. A silver leaf maple body with a figured maple top and an AA Flame Cognac Burst finish creates a gorgeous appearance that's meant to be admired. Meanwhile, the sleek mahogany neck and 16"-radius richlite fingerboard are geared toward fast, virtuosic playing.

There's no instrument quite like the Godin LGXT, and it certainly raises the bar for electric guitar craftsmanship. It's unabashedly modern, and it isn't afraid to venture into uncharted sonic territories. If you think you're ready to wield the power and precision of the LGXT, reach out for more information!
