This model features a slightly thinner 1.5"-thick mahogany body, making it lighter and more comfortable than a standard Les Paul Special. Its SlimTaper neck has a lightning-fast feel, and its Indian Rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and double cutaways make for an incredible playing experience. And just like the originals, this Gibson sports a pair of P-90 pickups that flawlessly capture that legendary Les Paul Special sound.
When designing this guitar, Gibson wanted to do something special to honor Rick's exemplary musicianship, so they created a brand new finish: Sparkling Burgundy Satin.
