Description
The Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s evokes the classic feel and sound of a true 1950s era LP, thanks to period-correct specs, tonal attention to detail, and the craftsmanship of a USA-made Gibson. Its authentic vintage feel is most apparent in the rounded '50s mahogany neck, complete with a rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. Plus, the maple-topped mahogany body sports a Gold Top nitrocellulose lacquer finish, which really allows the wood to breathe, just as the 1950s originals did. And with period-correct hardware that inlcudes an ABR-1 Tune-o-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, aged gold tophat knobs, and vintage deluxe tuners, it’s easy to see and feel its vintage authenticity. Plus, the excellent Burstbucker pickups deliver the highly sought-after PAF humbucking tone that true Les Paul aficionados crave. This is a truly exceptional Les Paul, thanks to era-specific specs, remarkably accurate tone, and an overall great in-hand feel.
