Description
The Gibson L-00 Special is a small-body acoustic built in Bozeman, Montana, offering the classic Gibson sound at an accessible price. It features a solid Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides, delivering a balanced tone with strong projection. The scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance, while the narrow waist focuses the sound for tight bass and clear mids-ideal for fingerstyle, blues, and singer-songwriters.
The utile neck has a SlimTaper profile for a comfortable feel, and the 12" radius rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays provides smooth playability. You get a TUSQ nut, and the rectangular rosewood bridge is fitted with a TUSQ saddle and bridge pins for consistent tone and sustain.
For reliable tuning, the L-00 Special has Grover® Mini Rotomatic tuners. The satin nitrocellulose finish is available in Vintage Sunburst or Wine Red. Equipped with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze pickup system and a soundhole-mounted volume control, this guitar is ready for stage and studio. Includes a premium soft-shell case.
