The electronics in this Custom Shop were painstakingly designed to deliver an authentic '57 Les Paul tone. Equipped with CTS 500K Audio Taper potentiometers and paper-in-oil capacitors, this Les Paul's internal signal path is dripping with old-school mojo. Complete with a pair of CustomBucker pickups that churn out dead-on PAF tones, this reissue nails the original look, sound, and feel of a '57 Les Paul.
Gibson's Custom Shop luthiers paid special attention to the appearance of this guitar. Unlike the average Goldtop, this Les Paul's Double Gold finish gives it a deep, enchanting hue that's absolutely mesmerizing.
