Description
The Rat King is an evolution of the Rat Tail distortion that takes three pedals and puts their circuitry into one convenient casing. Two distinct Rat Tail circuits and a feedback looper are all encased in the Rat King. The Rat King has numerous controls to compensate for its wide variety of sounds that can be achieved. The green knobs control (from left to right) Volume, Tone Filter, Distortion 1 Level, and Distortion 2 Level. The black knobs control Clipping 1 and Clipping 2, and the two-way toggleswitch lets you engage or bypass the pedal's silicon diodes. The red knob directly under the toggleswitch acts as a diode blending knob while the other red knob controls feedback level. Speaking of which, the left-most switch turns feedback on/off, while the middle is a gate/boost and the right-most footswitch lets you bypass the effect. With all of these features, it's easy to create a distinct sonic palette with the Rat King from Fuzzrocious Pedals.
