The Vintage Custom 1962 Strat is an NOS Fender Custom Shop piece with an authentic '60s feel and specs. The foundation of this Strat is its two-piece alder body, hand-selected for weight and grain, with a full Time Capsule finish packages that includes Closet Classic hardware and an NOS flash coat lacquer 3 Color Sunburst finish. The guitar's tinted riftsawn maple neck is the star of this guitar, however, with a "C" profile and a 7.25" to 9.5" compound radius fingerboard for easy bends as you go higher up the neck. And with three Hand-Wound '62/'63 Strat single-coils, vintage-style wiring, and 5-way switching, you get authentic vintage Fender tone, making this Vintage Custom 1962 the total package of Strat goodness.
Other features include 3-ply Parchment pickguard, American Vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut and wing string tree with metal spacer. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and Certificate of Authenticity.
