Starting with a two-piece select alder body, this axe delivers that iconic Fender tone with punchy upper mids, clear trebles, and boatloads of sustain. Guitarists will love riffing on its rift-sawn 1959 "D" shaped maple neck, which plays remarkably well, whether performing downtempo rhythm parts or lightning-fast leads. They'll also appreciate its silky smooth round-lam rosewood fingerboard, 21 narrow tall frets, and Journeyman Relic finish that gives it the look of a well-loved vintage guitar, complete with nicks, dings, and checking.
A trio of Dual-Mag II pickups give this Strat a well-balanced tone with chiming highs and rich lows. If you hate 60-cycle hum, don't worry - the reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup enables noiseless operation in positions 2 and 4.
