Description
Fender Custom Shop's 1950s Telecaster Relic is a faithful recreation of a fifties Telecaster, with vintage-style hardware, an excellent set of single-coil pickups, and a relic job that gives the guitar the look of a well-loved vintage Fender. This 1950s Tele Relic has been tastefully hand-worn by Fender Custom Shop's luthiers and features a black finish, vintage-style tuners, '52 Tele knurled knobs, a '52 Tele pickguard, and a classic three-saddle bridge for vintage-accurate looks and in-hand feel. Its two-piece ash body was sorted for light weight, and its neck is a happy medium between the ‘50s Fender “V” shaped necks and “C” shaped necks of the ‘60s, with this one being described as having an Oval “C” profile, in addition to a 9.5” radius maple fingerboard and Medium Jumbo 6150 frets. You’ll love this Tele’s set of pickups as well, with a Twisted Tele single-coil in the neck that provides hotter, higher-output tone for rock and blues players, while a ’63 Tele single-coil in the bridge for more traditional, even tones. With its combination of stripped-down looks, authentic vintage hardware, and versatile tone, the 1950s Telecaster Relic by Fender Custom Shop is a fresh take on a vintage classic.
