This guitar retains all the tones that Les Paul fans have come to love, but with additional high-quality performance features. Built with a mahogany body and a gorgeous AAA flame maple top, this Alex Lifeson Les Paul has a rich tone with plenty of sustain, even when unplugged. A super-comfy rounded custom-profile mahogany neck with an Indian Laurel fingerboard makes playing this guitar a dream - it feels fast and familiar, lending itself to fast riffing and big, open chords. Carrying two big ceramic humbucking pickups with coil-splitting options, the tone of this Alex Lifeson Les Paul is huge, fat, and distinctively Les Paul. Extra sonic diversity is available, though, with the addition of a Graph Tech Ghost piezo pickup built into the Floyd Rose tremolo bridge for killer acoustic tones at the pull of a switch. If that still isn't enough versatility, though, this axe has more to offer - the Alex Lifeson Les Paul has two output jacks. Use the upper jack and you'll get output signals from all three pickups. Plug into both jacks, and the magnetic pickups are outputted through the upper jack, while the piezo is outputted through the lower jack, allowing for creative amp and effects pairings.
