For further tone shaping, the Pico Canyon Echo has a FDBK knob, which is used to adjust the number of repeats. Keep it low for single repeats or crank it to create infinitely repeating delay lines, an incredible effect for creating washed-out ambient soundscapes. Additionally, this pedal has a FILTER knob, offering a high-pass filter when turned past noon and a low-pass filter below noon.
The Pico Canyon Echo also boasts a tap tempo feature, allowing musicians to set the tempo of the delay by pressing the footswitch at least two times. From there, players can press the TAP DIV button to subdivide the tempo into quarter notes, dotted eighth notes, or eighth notes.
