Like most Beetronics effects, the Swarm takes a different approach to creating its wonderful, mayhem-inducing sound. Once you plug into it, your signal is transformed into a square wave. The wave frequency is then multiplied and divided, producing nine possible harmonies over two octaves. Finally, modulation is added to the harmonies, and this is where the real magic happens. Now, onto the controls. The WORKER knob sets your input signal levels, while SPECIES allows users to select which intervals they'd like for the harmony.
