Description
This Supro Hampton is a beautiful black axe that just has that "thing". There really isn't any other way to explain. There is a sizzle behind it's tone that let's it settle in to the top of the mix, it can bit and growl just as well as it can back off, and it's got clarity that you just do not find in most guitars. Don't let the lack of a bigtime name on the headstock fool you, it is a serious contender.
Cosmetic Condition: Overall in good shape with some scratches visible in the black finish, most notable of which are on the back of the body. There is some swirling, clouding in the finish on the back as well.
Neck: Maple neck finished in a satin black with white side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays. Frets are in great shape with no visible wear. Metal Supro badge. Kluson Deluxe tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.
Body: Alder body finished in black with a 3-ply black pickguard. "Wave" tailpiece with Tune-o-matic bridge. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 10.4 oz.
Electronics: Three gold foil pickups with master volume and tone control. 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Hardshell case included.
