What makes this guitar special: Never sold to the public! This near-mint piece was purchased as part of a collection of new old stock pieces, and has never been publicly owned. It comes with the original hard shell case and will even be delivered in the original shipping box. This particular piece features an iconic gold finish balanced nicely against a dark rosewood fingerboard, and a super comfortable slim-tapered neck profile. It’s been professionally setup and inspected by our expert in house luthier, and will arrive ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Near mint condition, with only some light marks from handling, and some surface and pickwear scratching visible under particular lighting.
Body: Solid mahogany body with bound maple cap finished in gold. Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and chrome stopbar tailpiece.
Weight: 9 lb, 15.8 oz
Neck: Slim-tapered mahogany neck with black side dots and pearl trapezoid inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Double bound rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape, and frets show no visible wear. Two-stripe Gibson Deluxe tuners function perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
Electronics: Dual ’57 Classic Zebra humbuckers with 3-way pickup selector switch and gold speed knobs, 2x tone, 2x volume.
