Description

What makes this guitar special: This is a great 50s tribute all-around. It is in phenomenal shape for a used guitar, and is about as new as they come for being used. The neck has a fatter 50s style profile, making it perfect of players who like a bit more heft than the slim modern profiles. The pickups have solid response from the warm and chunky neck to the crisp bite of the bridge, both of which can be easily dialed in via the intuitive 2x2 controls. Plus, we’ve given it a great setup so it plays beautifully from the nut to the cutaway.

Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It shows only minor dings, dents, scuffs, and light scratches, but is otherwise in fantastic shape. The frets show almost no wear whatsoever and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod is functioning.

Body: Single cutaway mahogany body with a plain maple top in Satin Gold Top finish. Single-ply raised cream pickguard. Chrome Tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Gold top hat knobs with silver inserts.

Neck: One-piece rounded profile mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. Vintage-style Gibson Deluxe tuning machines with green tulip keys. 1 11/16” nut width. 24.75” scale.

Electronics: QC 490R in the neck and QC498T in the bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Weight: 7 lbs 11.7 oz

Playability/Sound: The rounded profile neck plays great and has a bit chunkier feel than most modern shapes. The pickups sound great in all three positions from the warm, full, and chunky neck to the crisp jangle of the bridge.

Case: Includes original gigbag.
