What makes this guitar special? This is a well-built American-made guitar with a simple yet refined design. The arched maple top features a unique masked binding that highlights the natural beauty of the grain and perfectly complements both the Sunburst top and mahogany back. The maple headstock overlay with mahogany inlays adds subtle touches of similar appreciation of natural figuring and excellent craftsmanship. The Frog Dog pickups have a unique response that still has the classic full, warm humbucker sound, but with a bit of extra quack in the bridge pickup that will help it not only stand out in solos, but add a bit of extra tonal character. Its tune-o-matic style roller bridge adds additional adjustability and excellent intonation. Overall, this is a very well-built American guitar with exceptional feel and playability with great tone and a nice look to boot.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does possess various light scratches and small dings and dents here and there, but is still very clean and looks fantastic head to toe. The frets show only very light wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod is functioning.
Body: Single cutaway mahogany body and arched maple top in Sunburst finish. Masked binding. Tune-o-matic-style roller bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Amber bell knobs and chrome switch.
Neck: Two-piece medium round C shape set mahogany neck and 12” radius rosewood fingerboard with side dot fret markers. Maple headstock overlay with silver signature and mahogany inlaid CMG symbol and engraved truss rod cover. 1 5/8” nut width.
Electronics: Frog Dog humbucking pickups. 1 x master volume, 1 x master tone. 3-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The satin-finish C shape neck is super easy to play and moves smoothly from the nut to the cutaway. The Frog Dog humbuckers sound good in all three positions with a warm and full response in the neck and a surprising bit of quack in the bridge.
