Description

What makes this guitar special? This is an absolutely gorgeous sounding Martin that won’t break the bank. Its overall tone centers around a rich, warm mid-range, pillowy low end that can still drive when pushed, and a crisp, articulate high end that makes for excellent fingerpicking. Its shaded gloss top adds a bit of visual character against its beautifully even-grained satin mahogany back and sides. The body is incredibly light and pushes a good amount of air for its size, giving it a satisfying inherent resonance that makes it a true pleasure to play.

Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does posses various light scratches and a few dings and dents here and there throughout the neck and body, but is still very clean and looks fantastic. The frets show only light wear and still have a lot of life left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.

Body: 000-12 fret body with a shaded gloss finish solid Sitka spruce top and satin finish solid mahogany back and sides. Black top binding. Single ring rosette. Tortoiseshell pickguard. Rosewood bridge with compensated bone saddle and black bridge pins.

Neck: Satin finish modified low oval shape neck and rosewood fingerboard with split diamond inlays. 1 ¾” nut width. Slotted headstock with 3x3 open-gear tuning machines. Solid East Indian rosewood headstock overlay.

Weight: 3 lbs 12.3 oz

Playability/Sound: The modified low oval neck is very easy to move around, especially after being a bit worn in. The tone has a very warm, rich mid-range and pillowy low end with crisp, articulate highs. It has a moderate volume ceiling and excellent sustain as well.

Case: Includes original hardshell case.
