Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a killer Les Paul Traditional Pro II that was part of an exclusive GC run. It comes loaded with a ’57 Classic in the neck, which has a fat and rich response across the board, while the Super ’57 provides excellent articulation, chime, and character. The maple top shows subtle flaming and nice figuring throughout, which is accentuated by its Honey Burst finish and perfectly complemented by its mahogany body. In addition, it is super clean for a used guitar and our techs have given it a great setup so it plays beautifully from the nut to the cutaway, giving it all-around appeal in terms of look, sound, and playability.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It shows only minor dings, dents, scuffs, and light scratches at worst, but is otherwise in fantastic shape for a used guitar. The frets show only light wear if any, and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Single cutaway mahogany body with flamed maple top in Honey Burst finish. Single ply cream top binding. Single-ply raised cream pickguard. Gold bell control knobs.
Neck: Slim to medium depth C shape mahogany neck and cream-bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. Replaced chrome Grover tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 24 ¾” scale.
Electronics: ’57 Classic humbucker in the neck and Super ’57 humbucker in the bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.
Weight: 9 lbs 9.9 oz
Playability/Sound: The neck on this guitar plays easy from the nut to the cutaway and should be familiar and comfortable to a wide variety of players. The ’57 Classic in the neck sounds fantastic with a rich and full response with excellent low end chunk, while the Super ’57 has great chime without compromising too much body.
Case: Includes original hardshell case.
