What makes this guitar special: Super clean condition with some fresh twists to its timeless blend of stellar tones, great looks & unrivaled playability. A carved, solid Grade-AA figured maple top lends bite and articulation to the sound while looking great in the process, and a solid, mahogany back without weight relief contributes superb warmth and depth. A quarter-sawn, Grade-A mahogany neck is glued in and carved in a comfortably rounded late-’50s profile that measures .900” at the 1st fret and 1.00” at the 12th, and topped with a bound Grade-A rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and traditional trapezoid inlays. Traditional touches include cream body and fingerboard binding, pickguard, and pickup rings, along with gold Speed Knobs & locking Grover tuners.
Cosmetic Condition: Superb condition - very clean & like new.
Neck: Nicely rounded, '50s profile mahogany neck with cream binding & black side dots. Beautiful, dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Grover locking tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body with carved maple top in Caramel Burst finish. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge with chrome hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 6.1 oz.
Pickups: After-market pickups & electronics added: 57 Classic neck humbucker - 7.76K ohms; Super 57 bridge humbucker - 8.57K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs. The Rhythm volume & tone knobs along with the Treble tone knob are all push/pull for coil taps & gain boost. Inside the control cavity are active electronics with a 9-volt battery. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
