What makes this guitar special: As fantastic in look as it is playability and sound, this LP is the whole package and a true player’s delight. It’s pretty straight forward for the year in terms of its specs, but features an especially nice AA flamed maple top with figuring that is so dramatic behind the tailpiece it’s near tiger-striping. The best addition feature has to be the pair of DiMarzio PAF humbuckers it comes loaded with. The neck produces a robust response with inherent warmth that immediately screams vintage vibe. The bridge serves its purpose similarly well with top-notch mid-range character that is not only retains articulation, but still comes off smooth. Plus, they’re cream, so they even better suit the pickup rings and pickguard than the original black tops would have. In addition, this guitar comes with its original hardshell case and a professional in-house setup so it plays beautifully from the moment its picked up.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does possess scratches throughout the body and neck, as well as a few minor dings and dents here and there, but is still in pretty great shape for a used guitar and still sounds and plays fantastic. The frets are barely worn and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.

Neck: 60s SlimTaper mahogany neck and bound granadillo fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. Chrome locking tuning machines with keystone keys. 1 11/16” nut width. 24.75” scale.
Electronics: Unoriginal DiMarzio PAF DP103 36th Anniversary humbucker in the neck and PAF DP223 36th Anniversary Bridge humbucker in the bridge. 2 x push/pull coil-tapping volume controls and 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The SlimTaper profile is super easy to move around and plays just as nice whether you’re busting out first position chords or riffing all the way up the neck. The DiMarzio PAFs sound fantastic with a big and full response in the neck and excellent upper mid-range character in the bridge, all of which has the perfect amount of old-school warmth and vintage character.
