Description
Condition: This guitar is in excellent overall condition! There are some very light surface scratches throughout the finish. These are all very minor and very difficult to see. Fingerboard and frets are in great shape with hardly any play wear. The neck is nice and straight with comfortable, low action up and down the fingerboard. The truss rod functions fine. The “G” string tuner was replaced with an exact replacement Steinberger tuner and functions perfectly. Aside from the replaced tuner, all electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body with neck-through mahogany/walnut center piece and mahogany wings in sunburst finish. Stop-Bar Tailpiece, Tune-O-Matic bridge, skirted control knobs with silver inserts and a 3-ply white pickguard.
Neck: Slender mahogany/walnut neck-through-body with bound rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid trapezoid inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Headstock features Steinberger tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Gibson mini humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 15.08K Ohms.
Bridge: 22.0K Ohms.

Playability/Sound: This is a gorgeous sounding Firebird. The mini humbuckers produce a great tone with plenty of jangle, warmth and an excellent presence. The Steinberger tuners work great and the neck is exceptionally comfortable.
